Dogs, part 2

Thought you might like another photo of my buddy Joe-Joe. I'd also like to share some quotes with you on work, dogs and pooped pups. First one is from me: "I'm not working -but I'm making it work." Second is from my fav Oscar Wilde: "Work is the refuge of those who have nothing better to do." And third is from Meditations for Dogs from Gertrude Stein: "It takes alot of time to become a genius. You have to sit around doing nothing, really doing nothing.

So chew on those for a while and then take a nap........

Quotes from my Mandala workshop

My Mandala workshop will be held on May 19th at 6:30 at the Cunneen Hackett Art Center.

For those of you who will not be there here are a few quotes I will use:

On Art: " One has to have a bit of neurosis to go on being an Artist. A balanced person seldom produces Art. It's the imbalance which impels us."

On Zen: All things are interdependent and their nature impermenent. We cling to what we cannot hold on to, its hell. The truth will set you free. Pure Breeze!"

This one is a bonus from the upcoming Lounge Lizard posting:

"Nike is wrong, do nothing. Stand still. Slow down, you move to fast, got to make the morning last. Relax, just be in the present and enjoy the moment. Glide! and of course, don't forget to smile!"
